My first Thanksgiving dinner.. So as the tradition says...
I am thankful for:
-The turkey. He was like this yesterday... Poor animal, he tried to bark like a dog and to miaouw like a cat, but that wasn't enough to keep away from Tina's oven.
So, finally we can see the result...
-The pies... Pecan pie, cheesecake, pumpkin pie, flam and sweet potato pie!! How could you eat all that? Well, you can! Yes we can! And Yes, we could! Also some pecan cream ice-cream and some Ferrero Rocher... I can't move! I am not going to eat in one week... (;p)
-For all the nice people I met today from all over the world: China, Cambodia, Senegal, USA... Very funny people, but a very strange mixture!
-For the oportunity I've been given to live here and to experience all this. And also, for the crazy things that sometimes happen, for the nice, hippy, strange, vegan and unique people I am meeting in Massachusetts!
I am thankful for a lot of things tonight and I will be also thankful if you comment on this entry!
The pics: The turkey before, Tina and turkey the after, Salmon Mousse (Oh my God!! Delicious!! And is fish-shaped!), the food (sweet potato, cranberry sauce and green sauce, salads), the food2 (turkey, stuffing, salmon), cranberry sauce, sweet potatos, the buffet is ready! the chinese and Fatu deciding what to eat, the pies, Mike serving the pies, eating!, me and Tina's birds, me trying to play a very difficult game (impossible!) and Fatu, the woman from Senegal.
Another American Day that I will remember for a long time...
